The Glow Recipe Watermelon Mist is amazing. It has a hyaluronic acid in it and keeps my skin looking hydrated and glowy. However, I don’t always have $28 to drop on this product. The other day, I was picking up something at Ulta when I noticed they had a similar product for $10, their Ulta Beauty’s Watermelon Facial Mist, and I had to find out if this could replace my Glow Recipe addiction.
Glow Recipe - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist
Price: $28
What I say: This is a great mist. It has hyaluronic acid in it and always keeps my face looking plump and feeling hydrated with a nice glow.
What they say: This ultra-fine, hydrating, fog-like mist is designed for ultimate skin radiance and makeup enhancement. It’s uniquely formulated with hibiscus flower which naturally contains AHAs to smooth the look of skin, apple cider vinegar (ACV) which naturally helps balance oil production, and rice germ oil which helps protect against free radicals.
Ulta’s Watermelon Facial Mist
Price: $10
What I say: It feels really good, it smells really good, it just doesn’t not have hyaluronic acid in it. But since I actually use the Hyaluronic Acid from the Ordinary, this can give you the same overall feel.
What they say: Give your skin the pick-me-up it needs with Ulta Beauty's Watermelon Facial Mist. A refreshing facial mist infused with hydrating watermelon extract and aloe.
Why You'll Love It:
Watermelon Extract & Aloe refresh and revive skin while providing hydration
Dermatologist Tested
Formulated without parabens & sulfates
FINAL VERDICT:
It’s a pretty decent dupe. I don’t think anything can replace the formula of Glow Recipe, but this one gets the job done to get you feeling refreshed and hydrated for less!
